Today marks the first week of WARCRAFT in 363 theatres across Argentina, Chile, Japan, Panamá, and Perú — which started showtimes on June 30, and July 1 (Japan + Argentina). The Box Office reports the following numbers:
Argentina: $972,435 (Reported July 5)
Chile: $358,628 (Reported July 5)
Japan: $272,247 (Reported July 5)
Panamá: $521,207 (Reported July 5)
Perú: $778,853 (Reported July 5)
These numbers are not showing amounts for July 6-7, however. The overall amount in this new data shows a gross income of $2,903,366.
The last Box Office numbers showed the WARCRAFT movie has made $422,190,540 worldwide. However, that doesn’t seem to account for Argentina, Chile, Japan, Panamá, and Perú numbers — based on what I reported on June 3. Worldwide numbers at the Box Office haven’t changed since July 3, and only have shown United States data updates.
Thus, adding the new post-June 30 showtimes data the Box Office worldwide gross in fact is $425,093,906 as of July 6th.
