WARCRAFT Movie Interview: Robert Kazinsky on Possible Sequels

Written by Medievaldragon on . Posted in Legendary Pictures, World of Warcraft Film

PCGamesN had a great interview with WARCRAFT Movie actor Robert Kazinsky (Orgrim Doomhammer) to talk about his role in the movie. Robert goes on to say there will be a second and third film till they get to The Frozen Throne story, but backpedals with “If we get to make them.” Figure of speech, or does Robert knows something? That’s wide open for debate.

We get a good glimpse of Dalaran, and a few ramdom scenes never seen before.

SDCC 2015 – Warcraft Movie Panel

Written by Medievaldragon on . Posted in Legendary Pictures, SDCC 2015, Warcraft Movie, World of Warcraft Film

Sadly, the person I assigned to go to the “SDCC 2015 – Warcraft Movie Panel” spent two hours in line before everyone was told there was no more room. My heart deflated. I have heard Duncan Jones fed and handed away lots of twinkies to late-campers who waited in line since last night. So I can understand the line was pretty huge as the panel schedule approached.

Warcraft Movie: Ben Foster Plays Medivh the Last Guardian

Written by Medievaldragon on . Posted in Legendary Pictures, World of Warcraft Film

IGN interviewed X-Men: The Last Stand actor Ben Foster who revealed he plays the role of Medivh the Last Guardian in the Warcraft Movie. Foster also had the chance to see some test footage of motion-capture and mentions while Medivh doesn’t have any motion-capture, there are characters and creatures in his proximity onscreen that do use motion-capture.

Ben Foster: “The character in Warcraft that I play is named Medivh. He’s a mage, which is essentially a sorcerer,” Foster revealed. “He came up in a time protecting an area, and the way he protected this area was through magic. As peace returned to this land he took a break. He hung up his staff, so to speak, or let his guns get dusty. We meet him as his friends are returning asking for his help in a battle.” — source: IGN
